Sassy!

Another sketch of a fencer waiting for pools to continue at the War of the Roses tournament in Clearwater, FL. I like the pose the girl struck. I think this gesture drawing captures a little of her sassiness!

I love sassy.

I have visited you site several times.

I am honored that you visit mine.

It is so strange that you posted today.

I was just lying in bed thinking about doing some epee artwork. (I have not done any serious art work in years.) BTW " Indicators" is my favorite work of yours. It is such a common seen and one that only fencers/fencing familys understand.

I was trying to think of a way to do a work that showed two epee fencers from the knees down ( sitting on bleachers) trying to do "buddy like" toe touches on each other.

I also thought of just doing one with the showing " taking a blade" with the little triangle that is formed and trying to sho just enough of this image to suggest what it is. The back ground would be black so it would be dynamic.

Most likely will never do either.

I am adding your link to my blog.

Your new fan,

Jim

Hey Jim,

Thanks for taking the time to comment and the compliments about "Sassy" and "Indicators". They are greatly appreciated. Now that my life is calming down a bit , I hope to post more regularly to this blog.

Interesting....I like the sitting fencers-toe touch idea. Please share if you get around to it.
