We've all been there...at a tournament without enough directors. It's hard to maintain focus, especially when you can socialize with your friends and family. But the fencers that get the medals at the end are the ones who do it best....! LOL!
Thanks Gray Epee! You totally GET what I'm trying to share!
I'm glad you enjoy my work. I hope in this New Year you get back into your art! You'll find it will enhance your life.
Congrats on the new grandchild! That's a blessing!
As far as doing something "that has not been done to death...": don't worry so much about that at first. Just follow your heart and give it an honest effort. I think you're find that when you start and continue on through the hard parts, the fresh ideas will start to come. But you have to start somewhere.....IMHO

I enjoy your work so much. (Brief instances of time that only fencers understand and take for granted until you point them out.)
Also, I have been reading about you on your other sites. WOW! You are so very impressive!
I was an art major many years ago, but I have not done art work (in the typical sense) in decades.
Your work, coupled with the coming of my first grandchild may have inspired me to try again.
I feel compelled to try something with old fencer/coach……..very young fencer. Now to figure something out that has not been done to death.
Happy New Year.
